This time two weeks ago I was getting ready to attend a client's in-person 2 Day event at the Gold Coast. I want to share their story with you.

Last year in February, it was my first time attending one of their events. I was so surprised, speechless and overwhelmed all at the same time. This time I was more prepared, I knew what to expect.

A little over ten years ago, two business owners had an idea.

They tested it with a small group program. A minimal viable product (MVP), nothing more.

Fast forward and there I was, sat in a room with more than 650 people, with a few hundred more watching online.

What started with the idea and small test group turned into an incredible three-year program, where they run in-person events three times a year, all the online learning content available on Kajabi.

I'm sharing that because I see the earlier version of this story play out with clients all the time, usually right before they talk themselves out of starting or sit on their idea for far too long.

The version people launch always beats the version they never do.

It's tempting to wait until it's ready. Fully built, fully polished, every module recorded. But the two business owners behind that program didn't start with 650 people. They started with a small test round and an idea worth trying. What you launch imperfectly this year will always outperform the perfect version you never launch at all.

What struck me most was the effort people made to be there. One couple I spoke to had driven six hours just to reach an airport, then flown another two hours to get to the event. Australia is a big country, and most of the people in that room live in remote regions. They travelled that far because what they're getting is worth it. Seeing the impact on people's lives is a little surreal, and I'm proud to be part of it.

Ten years on. One idea. One small test round.

We first worked together in Dec 2022, with me behind the scenes transitioning them from another platform, then refining processes to support. Their growth just keeps getting better.
